You find yourself stuck in painful relationship cycles
Fearing rejection or abandonment, overthinking conversations, or replaying things you wish you had said differently.
Even when you try to stay calm or “do the right thing,” old patterns of anger, shutdown, anxiety, or self-doubt keep showing up.
Deep down, you may feel disconnected from yourself, unsure of who you are without the intensity, chaos, or constant emotional effort it takes just to get through the day.
You may benefit from a trauma therapist in Boca Raton if…
I specialize in working with adults who feel trapped in cycles of emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of trauma. If you find yourself overthinking conversations, fearing rejection, struggling with anger, reacting intensely to situations, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy with me can help. Many of my clients have spent years trying to manage these challenges on their own and were ready for a different approach.
Through a combination of EMDR, DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy, I help clients move beyond simply coping and begin creating meaningful change. Together, we identify the underlying experiences driving current struggles, process unresolved trauma, strengthen emotional regulation skills, build healthier relationship patterns, and learn ways to move through life mindfully. My approach is both compassionate and practical, helping clients gain insight while developing the tools needed to feel more stable, confident, connected, and empowered in their everyday lives.

My Approach to Therapy
EMDR Therapy
A core part of my approach. This evidence-based treatment helps the brain process and resolve traumatic experiences, reducing emotional intensity, shifting negative beliefs, and easing body-based trauma responses.
Mindfulness
The practice of noticing your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations with curiosity and without judgment. I use mindfulness to help clients build awareness of their internal experiences, regulate their nervous system, and respond with intention rather than react automatically.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Identify and challenge negative beliefs that no longer serve you. Together, we will reframe your thoughts, develop healthier patterns, and create practical strategies for lasting change.
Psychoeducation
Understand the mind-body connection behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We explore how patterns formed as adaptive responses, often rooted in early experiences, and how they served a purpose.
Self Advocacy
Build healthier relationships by strengthening your confidence to assert yourself, set and maintain boundaries without guilt, clearly identify your needs, and express what you want with honesty, clarity, and respectful firmness.
Solution Focused/ Strength Based
I use these approaches to guide therapy. Together, we identify your strengths and past successes to create practical strategies and achievable goals, helping you build confidence, make progress, and navigate challenges more effectively.

Me Outside of Therapy
Outside of being a therapist, I love spending time hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply enjoying nature. I have a small garden on my patio and have plants in my house that bring me joy. Staying active is important to me, I also enjoy going to the gym and challenging myself in new ways. I'm currently learning to play the guitar, which has been a fun reminder that growth comes from being willing to be a beginner.
I also enjoy painting, gardening, and unwinding with video games. Above all, I value the relationships in my life. I love spending time with my husband, our two cats, and my family and friends. They keep me grounded and remind me of what matters most. I recently started playing Dungeons & Dragons with my friends, where I get to be creative and imaginative.
Having interests and passions outside of my career helps me show up as a more present, balanced, and compassionate therapist. Therapy is built on a genuine human connection, and while I'm here to provide evidence-based care and professional support, I'm also a real person who understands the importance of finding joy, meaning, and balance in everyday life.
